Gables Search Group is seeking a Field Application Engineer for a global leader in power electronics and industrial automation. This role suits an electrical engineer eager to gain expertise in servo systems, motion control, robotics, and customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities include learning and supporting products, collaborating with customers and sales to define requirements, troubleshooting, coordinating projects with global teams, and creating technical docs and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience through projects, labs, internships, co-ops, or professional work.
• Coursework or hands-on work involving power electronics, controls, robotics, motors, drives, embedded systems, or automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel ~20%, including occasional overnight and international travel.
• Experience with servo systems, motion control, industrial networks, OEMs, machine builders, or Mandarin Chinese is helpful but not required.

• Coursework or hands‑on work involving power electronics, controls, robotics, motors, drives, embedded systems, or automation
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%, including occasional overnight and international travel

Experience with servo systems, motion control, industrial networks, OEMs, machine builders, or Mandarin Chinese is helpful but not required.
