Southland Industries in Garden Grove, California, is seeking a Recent Grad/Alumni to join as an Associate Safety Coordinator. The role supports the Safety Manager in enforcing safety procedures across HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection projects and facilities.

The position emphasizes hands-on safety program implementation, employee training, and coordination of safety activities within construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks on project sites are performed safely per company policies and OSHA standards.
• Help implement the Corporate Safety Award Program.
• Distribute certification cards for industrial equipment training and maintain records.
• Report and manage company vehicle claims.
• Assist in reporting workers' compensation claims.
• Update MSDS manual and safety materials.
• Assemble safety manuals for distribution.
• Assist in implementing safety tailgate meetings and maintain signed forms.
