Job summary

Mann Wireless, Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technologist to bridge field operations and design for DAS and public-safety in-building wireless projects in Tennessee. You will grow into a design-focused role while gaining hands-on field experience.

You'll support quotes, site surveys, BOMs, and design submittals, with opportunities to learn iBwave, RF testing, and field coordination as part of a small, family-owned team.

Qualifications

• It requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years in RF/telecom, IT, or related technical field; internship or hands-on project experience is a plus.
• IT aptitude is desirable as IT-related tasks are part of the role.
• Basic RF theory, wireless concepts, and DAS/in-building wireless knowledge or ability to learn quickly.
• Willingness to learn iBwave and RF testing tools such as PCTEL spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Develop project quotes, estimates, and proposals for DAS/public safety projects with sales and PM teams.
• Support internal IT tasks and act as a point of contact for IT needs within engineering and office.
• Create designs using iBwave, including drawings and submittals for review.
• Perform on-site RF surveys and collect data for system design.
• Test, commission, and verify signals using RF test tools and spectrum analyzers.
• Prepare BOMs and supporting design documentation.
• Assist with light construction and field tasks to learn DAS/BDA installations.
• Travel to job sites, verify installations, and troubleshoot design-related issues.
• Coordinate with field teams and update designs as project conditions evolve.
• Document field changes and integrate data back into design packages.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client specifications.
