Qualifications

• 0–2 years of RF/telecom, IT, or a related technical field; internship or hands-on project experience is a plus.
• Associated or Bachelor degree preferred; equivalent military experience will be considered.
• IT experience or aptitude is desired as this role manages IT tasks in addition to engineering duties.
• Basic understanding of RF theory, wireless communications, and DAS/in-building wireless concepts or ability to learn quickly.
• Willingness to learn the iBwave design platform and RF test equipment (PCTEL, spectrum analyzers).
• Ability to travel to job sites and to do light construction/field tasks during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Develop project quotes, estimates, and proposals for DAS/public safety wireless projects in coordination with sales and project management.
• Manage and support internal IT-related tasks within the engineering group and office.
• Create and maintain designs using the iBwave platform, including construction drawings and submittals for review.
• Perform on-site RF surveys (pre- and post-installation) to collect data for system design.
• Test, commission, and verify signals using PCTEL tools and other RF equipment.
• Prepare BOMs and supporting design documentation.
• Conduct basic link budget calculations and coverage analyses.
• Assist with light construction and field work during onboarding to learn DAS/BDA installations.
• Travel to job sites to support field team and verify installations.
• Communicate design updates and guidance to field and office teams as scope evolves.
• Document field changes and as-built data for design packages.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Support project documentation and closeout packages.
• Participate in team meetings and project reviews; communicate status and risks.
