Job summary

Mann Wireless is seeking an entry-level Engineering Technologist to support DAS and public-safety wireless projects. You will work with engineering and field teams, learn the DAS design process, and assist with on-site surveys and testing.

Training will include field time early on to understand installation and design integration. You will develop quotes, create designs in iBwave, and contribute to final closeout packages, with opportunity to grow into design-focused duties.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years in RF/telecom, IT, or related technical field; internship or hands-on project experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of RF theory, wireless communications, and DAS/in-building wireless concepts.
• Willingness to learn iBwave and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes, estimates, and proposals for DAS/public safety wireless projects with sales and PM teams.
• Create and maintain designs using iBwave; produce construction drawings and submittals.
• Perform on-site RF surveys to collect data for system design.
• Test and verify systems using RF tools and spectrum analyzers; assist with field installs.
• Prepare BOMs and design documentation; update designs as conditions evolve.
• Travel to job sites as needed and support field team with technical guidance.
