Fifth Third Bank is launching a Retail Personal Banker I program in the United States, with a 9-week onboarding including rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on consultative sales, acquiring new households, and deepening customer relationships, while processing teller transactions and supporting platform staff.

Selected candidates will complete training to demonstrate the required skills for the Retail Personal Banker family.

Qualifications

• College degree or transferrable experience.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Ability to perform consultative sales and cross-sell.
• Strong math skills for credit and financial analysis.
• Professional appearance and communication.
• S.A.F.E. Act / NMLS registration required.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and propose suitable solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and support outside sales activities.
• Support relationship building with business partners and referrals.
• Meet customer experience and sales goals while handling duties.
