IES Residential is seeking a Residential Service Technician to assist with electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work while supporting daily operations and customer service activities. This role collaborates with customers, colleagues and vendors to ensure electrical systems are serviced safely and in compliance with industry standards.

Key duties include reviewing service requests, diagnosing issues, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation.

• Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and related systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and electrical codes.

• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
• English speaking, reading and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers and business partners.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review service requests, project plans, specifications, and work orders to support job completion.
• Support diagnosing and resolving electrical service issues in residential, commercial, or operational environments.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repairs, and project updates.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding service activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and customer interactions.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist senior technicians and support field service operations as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
