IES Residential Inc. is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to perform electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work while supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role works with customers, vendors, and leadership to diagnose issues and ensure compliance with industry standards. The position requires 2–4 years of experience, travel as needed, and the ability to work on active job sites in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical service issues in residential, commercial, or operational environments.
• Review service requests, project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate job completion.
• Ensure all work complies with policies, safety standards, and electrical codes.
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding service activities.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and job site conditions for efficiency and safety.
• Assist in training less experienced technicians.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication with customers and partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
