Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with minimum of two years banking experience including exposure to lending, credit, and/or deposits.
• Exhibits effective sales and customer service practices and has a firm grasp on relevant legal issues and other necessary information.

Responsibilities

• Develops new depository and loan customer relationships and builds existing portfolio with existing clients.
• Markets the bank’s loan, deposit, treasury and product partner solutions to existing and prospective clients.
• Actively manages and maintains, on an ongoing basis, existing clients by monitoring the financial condition and business aspects of a group of customers and responds to clients’ daily and long-term banking needs.
• Meets with centers of influence, business brokers, CPAs, attorneys, real estate agents, business owners, senior executives, and others to evaluate and analyze their financial and business needs, and to provide advice to prospective clients.
• Works with leaders and credit officer to make determinations regarding the creditworthiness of prospective clients.
• Scrutinizes customer and potential customer information provided for evidence of irregularities, discrepancies, and fraud.
• Structures and proposes credits; negotiates credit pricing, terms, and structures.
• Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary action to collect from past-due accounts.
• May assist with portfolios of other RMs or Market President including collecting financials, preparing loan documentation, coordinating renewals.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s products, services and credit standards.
• Keeps abreast of local and national economic, financial, political, and legislative events and climates with impact on lending.
• Maintains professional and community relations to increase bank visibility and opportunities.
• Ensures BSA compliance by following policies and completing related online courses.
• All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management.
