Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana seeks an energetic Reentry Support Specialist for the Hope Hall Residential Reentry Center in Evansville, IN. You will join a multi-disciplinary team supporting individuals finishing prison terms released to this area.

This entry-level position involves security duties, monitoring, transporting residents, reporting, and GPS-based supervision. Must have a HS diploma or GED, pass NCIC/ADP checks, and obtain First Aid & CPR certification (training provided).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Background check (NCIC and ADP) is required prior to employment.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security by conducting searches of individuals, vehicles, and facilities.
• Obtain resident urine and breath samples to discourage substance use.
• Transport residents as needed and conduct routine inspections for safety and order.
• Enforce rules, write incident and disciplinary reports, and monitor home confinement via GPS/phone.
