Job summary

Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana is seeking a Corrections Officer for the Indianapolis Residential Reentry Program. You will monitor resident activities, enforce program rules, and ensure safety and accountability in a dynamic setting.

The role offers entry-to-mid level opportunities in criminal justice with a strong mission to help individuals rebuild their lives. Shifts are available, with full-time and part-time options and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Preferred applicants will have a High School diploma or GED, or an Associate's Degree with one year of direct residential experience is preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents and ensure compliance with program rules and conditions in the Indianapolis Residential Reentry Program.
• Maintain safety and accountability of all residents and a clean, secure facility.
• Demonstrate flexibility, strength of character and willingness to help; support program goals and mission.
