Proven IT in Tinley Park, IL, is seeking an entry-level Recruiter who enjoys connecting with people and can guide candidates through the hiring process. You will receive hands-on training, partner with the HR team and hiring managers, and grow to own open positions over time.

Responsibilities include sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of recruiting, sourcing, staffing, sales, customer service, administrative, campus leadership, or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree helpful but not required; equivalent education, internship, or work experience will be considered.
• Engaging and personable, with the confidence to start conversations and build rapport.
• Tenacious and self-motivated, with resilience to handle outreach and changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple candidates and deadlines.
• Exposure to LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, or an applicant tracking system is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage prospective candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, social media, and outreach strategies.
• Review applications and conduct initial phone or video screens, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Build rapport with candidates and follow up consistently throughout the process.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams and communicate updates promptly.
• Post and update job openings across recruiting platforms and assist with job descriptions.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in the ATS.
• Support pre-employment activities, including offers, onboarding communications, and background checks.
