Hondo Finance in Norwalk, CT is seeking an entry-level Loan Originator who thrives on high-volume outreach. This true hunter role focuses on outbound calls to real estate investors and referral partners, building a personal pipeline from zero, and learning how our private lending products solve borrower needs.

You will be trained on fix-and-flip, RTL, bridge, and construction financing, work with underwriting and operations to close loans, and grow into a senior originator through mentorship,

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls daily to real estate investors, brokers, and referral partners.
• Build your own pipeline from zero; no leads handed to you.
• Learn how real estate investors finance projects and how our lending products solve needs.
• Learn and sell our products, including fix-and-flip, RTL, bridge, and construction financing.
• Qualify prospects, identify opportunities, and develop borrower relationships.
• Gather documentation and work with the team to structure and close deals.
• Collaborate with underwriting and operations to move loans to closing.
• Track touches in the CRM and hit targets for calls, conversations, opportunities, and funded loans.
