Job summary

Shea Properties seeks a Floating Junior Service Technician to perform on-site cleaning and maintenance at a California apartment community. You will handle janitorial, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and pool tasks, with on-call duties and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and pool maintenance.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to operate hand tools and basic equipment.
Knowledge of safety procedures and first aid.

Responsibilities

Inspect and clean all facilities and common areas.
Perform maintenance and repairs as directed (janitorial, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting).
Assist with turnover work on vacant apartments per procedures.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report safety concerns.
Provide on-call maintenance for evenings, weekends and holidays.
Complete work orders and related paperwork professionally.
