Job summary

Blach Construction is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team in Southern California. The role supports the Project Manager and Project Team in planning, coordinating, and executing project documentation, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

You will collaborate with Architects, Subcontractors, Clients, and Inspectors to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service. Strong organization, communication, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office).
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Extreme attention to detail, highly organized.
• Proactive, takes initiative, possesses a willingness to learn and develop in their professional career.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solver, solutions-oriented, creative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project preparations, set-up, and submittal registers.
• Review drawings and specifications to learn all aspects of the project.
• Lead meetings, take minutes, and distribute action items.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and documentation per project requirements.
• Process invoices and manage subcontractor records in CMiC.
• Maintain as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
