Job summary

Blach Construction Company in Southern California is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. As a key member of the Project Team, you will support preparation, coordination, and documentation to help meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost goals.

You will work with Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, Clients and Inspectors to resolve issues in a timely manner for all stakeholders. You will assist with submittals, RFIs, and project records, coordinate agendas for pre-bid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in-progress.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to learn project scope.
• Assist with submittal registers, RFIs, and change items.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation and meeting minutes.
• Archive and maintain project records and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project team on site safety and logistics.
