Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on advanced industrial and manufacturing projects. You will help implement company standards, assist with punch lists, self-perform work, and understand building processes under senior supervision.

Responsibilities include QA/QC tasks, documentation, procurement tracking, and coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Entry level construction experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Assists with estimating, change management, and take-off reviews.
• Supports on-site activities, monitoring crew size, materials and equipment.
• Prepares documentation and participates in project meetings and reporting.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings and deliveries.
• Supports scheduling and progress reporting to the project team.
• Aids in project closeout, including manuals and as-built drawings.
