Job summary

Rexel USA in Mesquite, TX is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to support the Projects program and branch operations. You will help facilitate management of projects from start to finish while training across bid review, RFQs, order entry, and vendor coordination.

This role emphasizes learning, organization, and teamwork, with opportunities to assist Project Managers and the outside sales team, handle submittals, and support customers and vendors to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Prior experience in customer service, project management, or electrical distribution industry a plus
• High School or GED - Required

Responsibilities

• Train on all aspects of the Projects process including quoting, project management, and projects outside sales
• Assist in reviewing bid packages and requirements
• Format customer requests into Project House spreadsheets for bid review
• Break down bid packages and issue RFQs to vendors and communicate deadlines
• Enter purchase orders and customer sales invoices
• Assist in loading requests, drawings and specs into project drive and assign jobs
• Verify submittal reviews for acceptance
• Assist Project Managers with expediting, order entry, returns and freight claims
