Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Mesquite, TX seeks a Procurement Coordinator to support daily procurement tasks, monitor inventory, expedite orders, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams. You will manage stock levels, resolve invoicing issues with AP, and work with warehouses to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in procurement, experience in electrical distribution, and strong communication and organizational skills. The role is full-time onsite with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the electrical distribution industry preferred.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement day-to-day tasks including monitoring inventory levels, expediting, and scheduling delivery of purchase orders.
• Review critical items below minimum, allocations, or stock outs for regional centers.
• Aim to meet or exceed fill rate/service level for branches and supplier lines.
• Coordinate with suppliers on shipping issues or discrepancies and assist payable variance resolution with AP.
• Coordinate with warehouse on delivery status and communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Monitor expedited shipments and relay updates to sales teams and ERP system.
• Interface with multiple departments and resolve problems as needed.
• Analyze and manage unhealthy inventory and coordinate excess transfers.
• Assist Inventory Planner with supplier returns negotiations and execution.
