Job summary

Griffin Industries Corp is seeking an energetic, entry-level Project Coordinator to support our operations in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role focuses on tracking project timelines, updating ERP status, and coordinating job-folder workflow between engineering and production teams.

This foundational position requires a High School Diploma or Associate Degree, with a preferred Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Operations, or Industrial Tech.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or Industrial Tech is a plus (no prior PM experience required).
• Technical basics: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook literacy required.
• Willingness to learn blueprint reading and GD&T basics.
• ERP, CNC machining, or foundry familiarity is helpful but not required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail are essential.
• Desire to learn manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• ERP status and tracking: input data, update job status, and track timelines in the ERP system under guidance.
• Job folder and document flow: organize, route, and coordinate folders between engineering and manufacturing.
• Attend daily production meetings, kick-off meetings, and weekly WIP reviews; take notes and record actions.
• Assist senior managers with customer communications and vendor follow-ups on orders.
• Document job updates, changes, and scope revisions with the team.
• Record working hours daily and submit overtime requests for approval.
• Travel occasionally for customer or vendor visits (about 10%).
