Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Project Support Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support Senior Project Managers in delivering complex, engineer-to-order manufacturing projects. This role focuses on end-of-line inspection readiness, real-time project visibility, and cross-functional coordination, bridging production, quality assurance, and engineering.

You will own day-to-day workflows, maintain documentation, track milestones, and help manage risk

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial equipment preferred.
Ability to read drawings and understand BOMs at a basic level.
Familiarity with project management tools and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

Maintain and upload completed documentation prior to shipment.
Coordinate cross-functional updates and track action items.
Support cross-facility coordination and ensure clear communication between teams.
Conduct real-time shop floor engagement and report bottlenecks and risks.
Track material availability and identify risks to delivery schedules.
Provide real-time project status updates and assist with schedule and resource planning.
