Gordon, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support customer-driven manufacturing projects from order entry through production and delivery.

This role connects customers, engineering, production, purchasing, and scheduling to ensure projects move efficiently, stay organized, and are delivered on time. This position welcomes both entry-level and experienced candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, construction products, architectural systems, or engineered-to-order environments.

Gordon, Inc. is hiring a Project Coordinator to support customer-driven manufacturing projects from order entry through production and delivery. We welcome both entry-level and experienced candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, construction products, architectural systems, or engineered-to-order environments.

This role connects customers, engineering, production, purchasing, and scheduling to ensure projects move efficiently, stay organized, and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple manufacturing projects from kickoff through production and shipment


• Serve as a primary customer contact for schedules, approvals, and project updates


• Support engineering, estimating, purchasing, and production teams with project documentation and communication


• Track project schedules, costs, billing documentation, and change orders


• Enter and manage sales orders, timelines, and documentation in ERP system (ECi M1)


• Maintain organized project files, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and specifications


• Identify potential schedule or production risks and elevate appropriately


• Assist with project closeout documentation and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Entry-Level Candidates

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Business, or related field OR relevant internship/work experience


• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills


• Interest in manufacturing processes and project coordination


• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Experienced Candidates

• Experience in project coordination, project management support, or manufacturing administration


• Experience managing project schedules, customer communication, and documentation


• Familiarity with change orders, billing processes, and production coordination preferred


• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is a plus

Skills & Tools

• Financial awareness (job cost tracking, billing support, forecasting assistance)


• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
