Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Production Worker in Tulsa, OK. The role involves working in the tube and core division, with 2nd shift (3 pm–11 pm) or 3rd shift (11 pm–7 am) and the possibility of overtime. Entry-level with progression opportunities to Finishing Operator I.

You must be dependable and capable of spotting defects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, troubleshooting, making process adjustments, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification required; able to operate forklift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and situations on the line.
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor product quality.
• Learn to set up new jobs and train on other lines/ departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Perform duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Adhere to Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Downtime is cleaning and straightening time.
