Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering (KIWE) is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer to join our design engineering team in Lenexa, KS. You will work on industrial and water infrastructure projects across North America, developing conceptual and detailed designs, PFDs and P&IDs to support project execution.

You will collaborate on mass balances, design calculations, and equipment specs, with opportunities for growth in a large engineering organization and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
GPA 3.0 preferred.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering design support for EPC/EPCm/DB projects including studies and plant layouts.
Develop water mass balances, PFDs and P&IDs for various technologies.
Prepare design calculations and specifications for major equipment.
Create design deliverables per industry codes and company standards.
Assist with project plans, schedules and budgets with discipline leads.
Coordinate with internal/external partners to resolve process issues.
