The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, eligibility to obtain state registration, and 0 to 6 months of experience. Training will be provided to develop strong customer service and professional skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.
• Experience required: 0 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion at pharmacy entry points and assist as needed.
• Process orders in person and by phone, directing questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment and assist teammates for efficiency.
• Use the pharmacy computer to maximize efficiency and provide accurate patient care.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate customer labels and manage inventory.
