SGS North America Inc. in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support the PFAS team. You will prepare and analyze samples, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround while following safety and SOP guidelines.

The role requires at least an Associate Degree in chemistry (or related field) with 0–2 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience. Proficiency in MS Office and basic math is expected; some lifting up to 25 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field with 0–2 years analytical chemistry experience OR 3 years relevant experience (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field with 1–2 years analytical chemistry experience (Preferred)
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills; experience with MS Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) required

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS SOPs using department instrumentation
• Perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments/equipment
• May assist with validation and MDL studies
• Assist with investigation and responses to client inquiries and CARs
• Input and maintain technical information to support lab functions
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook as applicable
• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
