SGS Dayton, NJ laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join the PFAS team. The analyst prepares and analyzes samples with accuracy in accordance with SGS SOPs, working independently and with a team to meet daily targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met.

The role requires basic analytical chemistry knowledge, strong data handling, and safe lab practices. Training provided to operate department instruments and sustain quality and turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemistry or related field with 0–2 years lab experience (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field with 1–2 years in Analytical Chemistry (preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic math.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SOPs using department instrumentation.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist with validation and MDL studies.
• Respond to client inquiries and CARs; maintain technical records.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and ensure safety and compliance.
