Job summary

RJ Young is seeking an Account Executive – Tier 1 to drive revenue growth through daily prospecting and by expanding an existing customer base. The role covers the full sales cycle, requiring excellent product and solution knowledge and consultative selling.

As an entry-level outside sales position, this role lays the foundation for long-term career advancement within the organization. Expect to meet monthly quotas, participate in training, and travel within the territory as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect daily within assigned territory to generate new sales opportunities.
• Maintain, upgrade, and expand existing customer relationships.
• Plan and manage daily activities, territory strategy, and database accuracy.
• Demonstrate equipment and continuously improve demo and presentation skills.
• Conduct needs assessments, qualifications, proposals, and QBRs.
• Present and close sales opportunities.
• Manage customer conflicts and objections professionally.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and forecasting.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
