Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, is hiring an OR Aide for the day shift. You will help with cleaning, sterilization, distribution, and recording of patient supplies and equipment, and assist in assembling OR instruments for procedures.

As a member of the surgical team, you’ll help maintain a safe environment, meet on-call requirements, and use basic computer skills. Training and growth opportunities are available within MercyOne Health System.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to meet departmental “on call” requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning, sterilization, distribution, and recording of patient reusable supplies and equipment.
• Prepare OR carts and instruments for procedures and ensure tools are ready for surgical use.
