Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for an on-site Patient Access Specialist at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX. The role focuses on admitting patients, verifying insurance, collecting demographics, and ensuring compliant processes at the point of service.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service experience, are curious and open to AI-driven process improvements, and will obtain CRCR certification within 6 months of hire (company paid).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign MRNs and perform medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain and obtain signatures on consent documents and patient education materials.
• Screen eligibility and enter benefit data to support POS and billing.
• Conduct pre-registration and outreach calls to gather patient demographics and financial information.
