Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners in Tyler, TX is hiring a Patient Access Specialist to perform admitting duties for all patients at Ardent - UT Health Tyler on-site. You will assign MRNs, verify insurance, collect demographics, process physician orders, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign MRNs, verify insurance, and collect demographic data.
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education documents.
• Operate telephone switchboard and handle inter-office communications.
• Pre-register patient accounts and support POS collections.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain accurate documentation.
