Job summary

Globus Medical's NuVasive Clinical Services (NCS) seeks an Associate Neurophysiologist to perform intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and high-quality data collection. The role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons, continuous training, and participation in clinical innovations.

You will monitor the patient’s nervous system, document findings, and assist in maintaining IONM equipment while traveling up to 25% to participating hospitals nationwide.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and no previous professional experience.
• Must be CNIM eligible via ABRET pathways (Bachelor’s degree, R EEG T or R EP T, or graduate of an IOM program).
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and anatomy/physiology is preferred.
• OR experience is preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and consults with the surgeon regarding monitoring.
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and team.
• Labels waveforms and calculates latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per guidelines.
• Selects protocols and troubleshoots data collection.
• Completes IOM logs and documentation; maintains equipment.
