Job summary

Marvin Wood Products seeks a Millwright I to install, align, maintain and repair industrial machinery. This entry-level role develops technical knowledge through hands-on work and classroom training.

You will read blueprints, dismantle and move equipment, perform basic maintenance, and assist with welding as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of mechanical work, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

• Current state driver’s license and forklift certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle, move, and align machines; complete basic maintenance tasks.
• Weld or assist with welding related to machine repairs; assist lift truck maintenance.
• Respond to call-back requests as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
