Qualifications

• Preferred: 4 years of industrial millwright experience or completion of a related vocational program.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines and moves equipment.
• Assembles and installs machines and tests them for proper operation.
• Ensures all work complies with approved safety regulations.
• Manages layout and placement of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Identifies and repairs problematic parts by testing, temporary fixes, or replacements.
• Dismantles older machines and replaces with new ones; oversees preventive maintenance.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts; aligns machines and components to spec.
• Performs duties safely and keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor.
