Job summary

Marvin Wood Products is seeking an entry-level Millwright I to install, align, maintain, and repair industrial machinery. You will read blueprints, assist with welding, and help with forklift maintenance while developing technical skills through hands-on tasks and classroom training.

Schedule includes Monday-Thursday nights with overtime as needed and potential snow plowing duties. A high school diploma or GED is required, and one year of mechanical work is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year of mechanical work or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and measurements.
• Basic computer skills to access work order systems; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Dismantle and move machinery; align equipment.
• Assist with welding related to machine repairs.
• Repair and lubricate machinery and equipment; assist with forklift maintenance.
• Respond to supervisor-call backs and support classroom training goals.
