Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV seeks an MES Analyst I to support manufacturing MES applications, data collection, and product traceability. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure system availability and data accuracy while gaining experience in MES technologies and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of technical problem solving, data analysis, scripting, automation and troubleshooting
• Exposure to MES, manufacturing applications, or production support systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and data collection systems
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to optimize output and ensure MES systems meet needs
• Ensure daily availability, accuracy, and performance of the MES platform
• Support MES functionality with manufacturing users and stakeholders
• Support daily MES operations across manufacturing facilities
• Monitor MES performance, availability, and data integrity; escalate issues as needed
• Troubleshoot MES errors; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Gather and document business requirements from manufacturing, quality, controls, and engineering teams
• Assist configuration, testing, and deployment of MES enhancements under guidance
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for system improvements and issue resolution
• Identify/correct data-entry and workflow errors; perform regular maintenance
• Provide first-level end-user support and training assistance
• Act as liaison among manufacturing, engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and software teams
• Perform testing/validation of MES changes under guidance
• Coordinate project activities with cross-functional teams
• Support validation, change control, and compliance for MES deployments
• Respond to support requests during business/non-business hours
• Ensure compliance with Panasonic policies including SOX
• Provide feedback and support for new/existing projects
• Track project deliverables and communicate status
• Configure/deploy software, devices and peripherals across the factory
