Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV seeks a Business Process Engineer II to lead process improvement initiatives, align material and data flow with business goals, and coach teams in a high‑speed manufacturing setting.

You will apply Excel, Power BI, SQL, and process simulation tools to quantify improvements, reduce downtime, and shorten cycle times. Requires 2–4 years in process engineering and a technical bachelor’s degree; MS and Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in business process engineering or related field.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing and knowledge of process analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead current-state and future-state process analysis for assigned value streams.
• Coordinate with Ops, IT, IE, Finance, Procurement, Planning and system owners.
• Develop KPI metrics, ROI analyses, and cost-benefit analyses for improvements.
• Coach team members and mentor junior engineers.
• Utilize Excel, Power BI, SQL, and simulation tools to validate recommendations.
