Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking an MES Business Analyst to develop, evaluate, and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will identify and implement ideas to improve information management and analytics by assessing current capabilities and capturing high-level customer requirements.

You will collaborate with IT and manufacturing stakeholders, lead MES design and implementation, and define functional requirements through interviews and process mapping. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial software services functions.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or implementing MES applications.
• Experience with MES traceability and quality applications.
• Experience with Red Viking Argonaut, Inductive Automation Ignition, SAP, Oracle, Siemens and Allen Bradley.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% locally and internationally.
• English fluency in reading, writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and lead the implementation of MES.
• Engage IT personnel to resolve MES application and manufacturing process issues.
• Perform requirements gathering and gap analysis.
• Support MES solution architectures and develop detailed design specifications.
• Define functional requirements through client interviews and process mapping.
• Estimate technical effort for MES solutions and manage deliverables.
