Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Officer (MSO) to learn branch operations and deliver exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone. You will begin training in lending and collections while handling routine duties, cash handling, and document organization in a collaborative environment.

The position emphasizes learning CXone, basic account origination, and access to SECU's financial products through guided supervision

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, CCUE Certification, or AA/AS via NC-CTP.
• Consistently demonstrates SECU’s Core Values.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Complete the Credit Unions Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person with exemplary service.
• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional, and timely manner across all service channels.
• Answer phones and assist members with service requests.
• Process foreign and domestic wire transfers and assist with currency orders as needed.
• Learn CXone and begin obtaining basic knowledge of Financial Advisory and Real Estate products for referrals.
