Job summary

HealthMark Group in Salem, Oregon is seeking an entry-level Onsite Medical Records Processing Specialist to handle ROI requests, maintain accuracy, and support customers by phone. Training will be provided, and a strong emphasis on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance is required.

You will work with a team to manage records, ensure secure handling of PHI, and keep all queues up to date while delivering reliable service and professional presentation on site.

Qualifications

• Basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to learn new technology including multiple EMR systems.
• 1–2 years of work experience within a team environment.
• Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete all incoming ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain 100% ROI accuracy.
• Keep all request queues current.
• Provide customer support through phone communication.
• Validates requests and authorizes release of PHI according to procedures.
• Performs quality checks on all work to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and invoicing.
• Maintains confidentiality, security, and ethics with PHI during transport, storage, and disposal.
• Regularly scan ROI requests into chart.
• Abides by ROI policy for HealthMark and clients.
