Job summary

Renaissance Medical Foundation is seeking a Coder I for CodingUS:TX:McAllen to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM codes for outpatient encounters. You will ensure accurate coding and support billing accuracy with 3M Coding Software.

Ideal candidates have CCS-P or related certifications and solid knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and APC guidelines, with strong research and attention to detail. On-site coding position in McAllen, Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical coding and terminology required.
• Understanding of HIPAA laws and ethics.
• Ability to perform productive research quickly.
• Ability to work with minimal interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Code outpatient procedures using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and APC guidelines.
• Use 3M Coding Software for coding accuracy.
• Code various outpatient record types (EMR, Radiology, RMF Clinics).
• Attach HCPCS Level I and II modifiers for billing.
