Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions offices in multiple regions including Boston, MA, and other cities. The role focuses on HVAC design, performance contracting, and energy projects, with opportunities to lead and grow within a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will develop, present, and implement project opportunities, perform site visits and energy calculations, and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience in HVAC design and commissioning is preferred.
• Ability to develop energy calculations and participate in energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present project opportunities to clients.
• Support meetings, events, and proposals.
• Lead site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Assist bidding and contract administration processes.
• Coordinate with construction managers for timely delivery.
• Commission installed systems to validate performance.
• Assist clients through warranty phase as needed.
• Collaborate with M&V team to develop reports.
