Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions offices in Baltimore MD, Fairfax VA, Richmond VA, Boston MA, and California.

The successful candidate will support all phases of our performance contracting projects, from conception to completion, with a focus on HVAC design, energy calculations, and commissioning activities. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with 0–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present project opportunities to potential clients.
• Support client meetings, industry events, and proposal development.
• Project development including site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Engineering design review of drawings and specifications.
• Support the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Help facilitate the contract administration process.
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Commission installed systems to validate performance.
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed.
• Work with our M&V team to develop M&V reports.
