CMTA Energy Solutions is seeking an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to support energy projects across multiple offices, focusing on HVAC design and commissioning. The role involves self-motivation, client interaction, and leading phases of projects from conception to completion.

Ideal candidates have a background in HVAC, energy calculations, and a strong consulting mindset. This position offers growth within CMTA’s fast‑growing energy division and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred.
• Experience in HVAC design and commissioning is valued.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and present project opportunities to potential clients
• Support client meetings, industry events, and proposal development
• Project development including site visits, audits, and energy calculations
• Engineering design review of drawings and specifications
• Support the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes
• Help facilitate the contract administration process
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period
• Commission installed systems to validate performance
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed
• Work with our M&V professional to develop M&V reports
