CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions offices in Baltimore MD, Fairfax VA, Richmond VA, Boston MA, California. The ideal candidate thrives on helping clients and has a solid HVAC and engineering background to lead phases of our projects.

Responsibilities include developing opportunities, supporting client meetings and energy calculations, and ensuring quality through design reviews and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar required.
• 0-3 years of experience with energy services/consulting preferred.
• Strong HVAC knowledge and mechanical systems understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of performance contracts from conception to completion.
• Develop project opportunities and presentations for clients.
• Assist with site visits, audits, energy calculations, and design reviews.
• Support bidding, contract administration, and construction coordination.
• Collaborate with M&V teams to validate performance.
