Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Control System Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
Must be willing to work in a plant environment
GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship; candidates must not require GM sponsorship now or in the future
Prior internship experience in manufacturing, automotive, or technology preferred
PLC programming experience preferred
Working knowledge of process equipment operations, sequence, error proofing, and diagnostic capabilities preferred
Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Ability to read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections
Ability to detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals
Ability to wear personal protective equipment
Ability to work in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach repetitively
Ability to lift or carry materials up to 15 pounds and periodically up to 40 pounds
Ability to occasionally sit, climb ladders and lifts, and drive vehicles and equipment
