Entry-Level Manufacturing Associate 3rd Shift

Location: Carroll, IA (51401)

Pay Range: $17-20

Shift Schedules:

1. 1st Shift - M-F, 6:00am - 2:00pm
2. 2nd Shift - M-F, 2:00pm - 11:00pm
3. 3rd Shift - M-F, 11:00pm - 7:00am

Note: All work is on-site. Open to candidates with US citizenship or permanent residency.

Position Overview

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with various backgrounds including high school shop classes, technical or vocational training, military experience, or manufacturing skills. Experience with calibration, deburring, inspection, and machine operation is a plus but not required as training will be provided.

Work Summary

The role involves learning calibration operations, preparing and assembling components, and operating production equipment under supervision. The goal is to develop skills towards certification, with guidance from experienced technicians.

Primary Responsibilities

• Learn to set-up and operate test stands for nozzle, spray bars, and valves.
• Operate laser markers and printers according to procedures.
• Record spray parameters and certify product conformance.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble products as needed.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities.
• Work overtime and nonstandard hours as required.

Work Environment

Climate-controlled, clean facility with strong environmental health and safety standards.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Willing to train on 1st shift and then move to other shifts.
• Willing to work overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Manual dexterity and ability to read prints.
• Basic computer skills and shop math knowledge.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively.
