Ultra-Poly Corporation is hiring! We are a family-owned and operated regional business based in Portland, PA, specializing in recycling plastics through innovative manufacturing processes. Our supportive work culture offers opportunities for growth in an environmentally responsible environment.

We currently have immediate full-time openings for second and third shifts in our Production Department in Scranton. These entry-level positions involve training and support from a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Operate large equipment such as shredders and grinders.
• Manually load and unload products.
• Monitor and adjust equipment, staying attentive to safety and operational protocols.
• Use forklifts to transfer materials (note: this is not a forklift operator role).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and dependability.
• Able to work 8-hour shifts: 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) or 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am).
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Basic English literacy; computer skills are a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required.
