Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician in Riverside, CA to maintain automated material handling equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, collaborating with lead technicians and maintenance leadership to drive equipment availability and safety.

The role offers a path to Skilled Technician/Tech II, with a schedule Tue-Fri, 4:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver's license.
• Familiar with simple wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site (conveyor systems, sortation, scales).
• Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic/pneumatic systems and AC/DC motors/drives.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment (PPTs, HVAC, compressors, balers).
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and document work orders with data.
