Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance, install or repair in plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or related areas.

You will learn to inspect equipment, troubleshoot, estimate time and material costs, and support plant operations. A High School diploma and hands-on tooling experience are required; OSHA and safety training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Experience with power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools; reading blueprints a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, engines, valves, and related equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle and reassemble equipment to restore operation.
• Estimate time and material costs for projects and assist in other plant areas.
• Operate vehicles for plant operations and adhere to safety policies.
